Greasemonkey is an add on for Firefox. It allows for execution of javascript on specific browser pages. Examples include adding buttons to specific pages or changing text displayed in a field by default. To use these scripts, Greasemonkey must be installed on each computer. After Greasemonkey is installed, any file ending in “.user.js” can be opened with Firefox and it will be added to the Firefox plug ins. Use Greasemonkey scripts at your own risk! Tampermonkey is available for Google Chrome.
