EDD from CRL js script

On or about Sept 21 2023 the BC MFMs switched the reference for dating pregnancies using CRL from the Lessoway reference to the Robinson reference. This means that for those using the Pregnancy Calculator that converts a CRL into weeks and days – that part of the calculator was often off by 1 day ( often less by 1 day). I have updated the JS script that is stored in the image library that does this work, so that it now uses the Robinson method. If you wish to update this on your system, you will need to go into your image files and delete a file called EDDfromCRL.js and replace it with the new one.

I was asked by a colleague to create this eForm. Referral to the Centre for OASIS (West Broadway, Vancouver). ( OASIS = Obstetrical Anal Sphincter InjurieS – 3rd & 4th degree tears) The original PDF is 4 pages, but the first 2 pages are information only. I have put those in the accordion menu on the side. This is now a 2 page eForm (with lots of room).

I was asked by a colleague to create a Report by Template to search for patients due in a specific time range. This lists all patients with a due date in the date range chosen. It includes a link to the demographic and the name (and provider number) of the provider. I have also created one that looks up the measurement EDC rather than EDD for those that have used that measurement. **** For this search to work, you need to have an EDD (or EDC) measurement in the charts of all your pregnant patients **** . If you use either the pregnancy calculator or the pregnancy care calendar this will happen automatically.

I was alerted to this form and clinic by Daina Meakes – thanks Daina. Fraser Health has a new Placenta Accreta Spectrum Clinic. This eForm includes a side menu with a checklist for the required information, and instructions for referral. The second tab of the menu has links to provider information and patient information.
