This eform was made at the request of The Chilliwack Division of Family Practice and Cedar Family Practice. This referral asks for several lab values and wants them to be within 1 year. I have added those inputs and written a jquery that checks dates and chances the font to red if they are over 1 year. There is an alert that pops up for this as well. The jquery has been written to allow for easy adaptation to other eForms that check dates on results. As well, I have found that some of the lab values on my test patient do not have any “date observed” attached to them, so I have the date inputs (non printing) on the side for easy reference (blanks mean there is no date).
